He has rocks in his gloves!!!

Best amateur Canadian boxer in 2005 and 2006, Montreal’s Adonis Stevenson has evolved in the amateur Middleweight division (75 KG). He was the champion of Quebec

in 2004. This year, at the national championships, he complied with 2 decisions that were made in favor of the champion and eventual Canadian representative at the Olympic Games in Sydney, Jean Pascal. Following Pascal’s move to the professionals, he captured the Canadian title of his division in 2005 and 2006 then took his place on the Canadian national team. He has represented Canada at many international combats like the world championships in China in 2005 and the Commonwealth games in Australia in 2006. At the games he collected a silver medal, the only medal won by a Canadian boxer. His amateur profile ends in 33 victories to 5 defeats.

We expect him to improve rapidly and move onto the professionals thanks to his speed and most of all the power of his punch : « His hitting strength is simply phenomenal, tell all your opponents about him or those who will put on their gloves to train with him! This quality will allow him to climb the ladder and excel in professional boxing» according to Bernard Barré of GYM.
