Oddly enough, it wasn’t until the age of twenty that Patrice L'Heureux became interested in boxing. Earlier he was destined for football and even put in four years for the Trois-Rivières, Cégep Diablos. Team for which he notably brought home the AA college Golden Bowl in 1991.
This exuberant giant from Mauricie certainly is not known for his natural talent or his precision. Regardless, he will always be the second champion in the history of Canadian heavy weights also being from Quebec. The first was Robert Cléroux who held the title and the belt during the 60’s.
Besides his success in the ring, his remarkable human nature is the source of his popularity. Patrice L'Heureux, who has forged himself an excellent reputation and is distinguished by his big heart.
